Just something I'd like to record...had a good time at Sunway Lagoon with fellow colleagues. It was the firm's Family Day...unfortunately the only free ticket we can get is for ourselves since we are without family until we get married. Lol. I went on something quite bizarre...seriously thought it was something I went last time...but it's so NOT. I've mistaken the Flying Carpet for this crazy-360 degrees-swinging in the air-gigantic boat thing. Anyways, me and my colleagues were sitting in the front row for quite awhile waiting for the crowd to pile in. There were these people sitting in front of us (think they're from college). Conversation went something like this:

Group of students: We....from Malaysia.
They thought we were all Japanese (I think it must have been the heat that caused us to turn lobsters and look like some foreigners who have never seen the sun). We laughed hard.

Guy #1: I'm ___ (can't remember..). Single and available...but not so free.
hmm...what does that mean..

Guy #2: Are you all still studying?
We laughed even harder. Sure we are...don't we have this stressed out gonna kill ourselves with this ride look? I guess our bosses haven't worked us hard enough yet?!

Gal #1: Panas-lah. Cepat la!!! (calling the ride operators to start the ride)

Guy #1: (after several times of Gal #1 saying panas-lah) Panas, bukak-lah!! (meaning, teasing her to strip)

******************

Man, I screamed so hard, I kinda lost my scream when we were in the air...instead was laughing hard when we were tilted 360 degrees. But it was fun la. Great adrenaline rush. Try it when you have a chance to go there someday...

Work Work Work

Of late, I've just been swamped in work. And it's just gonna get worse..things will start to pile up, i.e the "after fieldwork-submit for review, the many stages-clear queries-while doing another job" cycle. Alot of juggling to do. But it has been a rather perky week since this has been the Bvlgari week. Towards the end of our fieldwork, we went to their outlet in KLCC to check out some bling blings..hehe. Not that we were doing stocktake, but just to make some enquiries and since certain documents were there. Natasha (my fellow colleague) was trying out some of their watches. She definitely knows more of their products than me. The store manager was rather hyper..kept telling us that she checks the stocks properly, and there's no stock losses..repeatedly..like we don't believe her. They have comfy cushions in there. And nice ambience..soothing jazzy-soulful music. Not too customer friendly though, since you need to be let in to get in..as their doors are locked. I guess their customer who "dares" to go in really know what they want and is serious about getting something when they decide to ring the door.

I really would like to meet any one of their customers..why would people pay sooo much to accessorize themselves? It's rather bizarre. Some of their individual items are priced as much as a low cost house. Really wanna attach faces (of customers) to the names I have in the file. Faces, not faeces. Lol. Although..that might not be a bad idea-get this right, faeces to the file, not their names!

Fridays are my favourite day of the week. Today has been rather uneventful as always..bored bored bored..team leaders were hunting for help on jobs like crazy the whole morning. Even the pregnant lady was not spared. =) The department is seriously in need of manpower. Audit anyone? Everyone is so packed..gonna explode soon. Feeling feverish-ish already. Heart beating fast most of the time..not been going to gym for the entire week..haih. Office is rather empty nowadays, alot of them are out on fieldwork and a big bunch was seconded outstation. And it's a Friday!! Not that I'm complaining, I prefer to work in an empty office anyways..lesser phones ringing; lesser interruptions.

Next week I'll be working somewhere near St. John's Cathedral..so can go lepak there if got time..and pay visit to my school..maybe spot a monkey. And I don't mean humans.

=) ahh..yes.
